Wait, I hear you ask, “if these spectacles bring the sky alive, why do we have to talk about how to see them? It’s the sky, isn’t it?”
Again, with all the questions! But yes, that is a good question.
There are two answers to it, actually: obstacles and people.
You see, Disneyland Paris has some pretty tall things laying about, and they can get in the way. Yes, even of the sky. But really, when it comes to the fireworks and drones, there are many, many good seats to be had.
You’ll see we’ve reused a map from the first circle here.
The other aspect of these spectacles, however, are the lights and images projected onto the central castle. And those are easily blocked.
The good news is that even if you can’t see those images, the fireworks and drones are amazing. So, if you do your calculations and decide that seeing the images on the castle isn’t a priority for you, you open up a world of possibilities for great places to sit and watch the shows without too many people around.
Pro tip: You can’t see the fireworks from inside.
These tips just keep getting better, don’t they?
If you decide that you don’t need to see the images projected on the castle to have an enjoyable show (editor’s note: these displays are great without the images, and far less stressful), then take a look at the map here and go literally anywhere in the Disney Park that isn’t coloured in. Except inside. Don’t go inside. That isn’t going to work.
If you want to see the projected images, and I don’t at all fault you if you do – they are pretty fun, then let’s figure out how to see them.
The best views are found in the portion of the map coloured dark blue. But someone must have talked, because the secret is out. Pretty much everyone knows about those spots. If you are determined to venture within the darkest of blues, then the extreme North-Eastern portion of that area is your friend. You don’t have the best angle on the castle, but it is still a pretty good view. The areas in light blue are also good options for seeing the images, but they will be pretty far away. Which can be important to people who, like me, can’t see more than 3 inches in front of their nose without glasses three inches thick. On the plus side, we always know what is three inches in front of our faces (hint: it’s our glasses).
