Sadly, for those guests who have access to a Priority Card, there are double the number of entrances to think about!

while the entrance to the Priority Line is usually the Premier Access Line, this is not always the case.

You can, however, always go to the Premier Access line to ask the Cast Member there if this is a ride that you access through that line. Well, when there is a Premier Access line. When there isn’t a Premier Access line, there will be a ‘regular’ line, and you can ask the Cast Member there! The point is you can ask a Cast Member, and they will point you in the right direction. Which is helpful, as these are sometimes quite difficult to find. For example, there is a Priority Access line for the Main Street Railway Station, but to access it you need to take the elevator from the square. It is entirely possible that it is clearly marked and there are signs pointing to this, but I have never seen them. And I have looked pretty hard for them!

The interntet has information.

What? I already told you none of this was going to be groundbreaking.

In addition to videos that walk us through each of the rides, there are lists of the entrances to the rides – including the Priority Access lines – that you can find on the internet.

You can use any search engine to look this up, and there are resources out there that include pictures of the entrances as well as their locations on the map. As I said before, knowing about these entrances before going to the Parks can reduce the amount of stress you may feel on the day. Honestly, anything that allows us to have a bit more control over our day is helpful, as there are many things that are going to be beyond our control.

There is one thing I do want to talk about if you are using a Priority Card when the Priority Line and the Premier Access Line share an entrance.

Unlike the guests who have paid for Premier Access, you don’t need to scan your card at the card readers at the front of the line. You simply need to show your card to the Cast Member at the entrance to the line. I should also note that it doesn’t need to be the individual with the disability who shows the card (though they DO need to be there to access the Premier line).

For our family, I am the one who keeps all the cards and shows them when necessary. This way, EP1&2 don’t need to worry about losing them or about when they need to show the cards. It also means that I don’t need to worry about the EPs losing them either. Rather a win-win scenario there. Though, obviously, you may come up with a different system that works for you!
